Ruby Helsinki

NHC advised ICON Real Estate with an initial feasibility study, operator search and contract negotiations for the 142-room Ruby hotel.

The Helsinki hotel will be the first Nordic destination of the Ruby Group. The hotel will be located in a 19th-century building in the historical Kruununhaka district. The hotel will offer a 24-hour bar and breakfast area, a courtyard pavilion and outside terrace. Additionally, it will be the first Ruby hotel to include a sauna in the hotel facilities.

The Ruby Helsinki development is a part of a half-city-block-sized (10,000 m²) real estate project which plans to revitalise the neighbourhood, with a further 50-60 luxury apartments ranging from studios to 4-bedroom apartments also under construction next door.

The hotel is scheduled to open in 2021.
