Hyatt Grand Hansa Helsinki
Nordic Hotel Consulting has completed the operator search and contract negotiations for the Grand Hansa project developed by Ylva. Ultimately, the hotel will be branded under The Unbound Collection by Hyatt and will be operated by Primehotels under a franchise agreement. This agreement marks the entry to the Nordics for Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
The hotel will be located in Seurahuone building in a historical block Kaivopiha. The building was acquired by Ylva in 2018.
Antti Kerppola, the CEO of Ylva stated, "We want to develop Helsinki as broadly and responsibly as possible. The hotel project supports the internationalization of Helsinki as well as the sustainable development of the city's center. We want to make our Kaivopiha block as high-quality as possible for the people of Helsinki and its visitors."
The 224-room hotel is scheduled to be opened to the public in 2022.
